About Me

     I’ve been a nurse for nearly 30 years, working in corrections, hospice, mental health, and skilled nursing care. Over time, I’ve witnessed the incredible strength people show in moments of deep change and challenge. That experience led me to further my education as a nurse coach—someone who supports personal growth and wellbeing through a values-centered approach.

I founded my coaching practice just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although that time brought uncertainty, it also revealed how vital it is to stay true to what matters most. Much of my early coaching work was voluntary, as the need for support was great. I helped individuals adapt to new realities while keeping their core values at the heart of their lives and decisions.

My Philosophy

     I believe that understanding and honoring your values is essential to leading a satisfying, meaningful life. As a nurse coach, I often ask:  “Which of your core values does this action support?”

Nurse coaching is not therapy—our focus is on collaboration, empowerment, and self-discovery. I may gently challenge your thoughts or choices when they drift from what you say you value most, but you always make the decisions. My role is to help you keep your values in clear view as you move toward the life you want.

What Is a Nurse Coach?

     Think of a nurse coach like a sports coach. In sports, the goals are clear and the coach helps players stay focused on them. In life, goals aren’t always so defined. Sometimes you’re unsure of your direction—or you realize that your goals may not actually align with what’s most important to you.

That’s where coaching comes in. Together, we explore your goals and values to ensure they truly serve your purpose and wellbeing. You might find yourself refining your goals, redefining your priorities, or even realizing that some values you’ve held belong more to others’ expectations than your own.

Moving Forward

     Every insight is a step toward deeper self-understanding. As you uncover what feels most authentic, you may choose to:

  • Reaffirm the core values you began with

  • Exchange one value for another

  • Or find new ways to honor both

The choice is always yours—made from a place of greater clarity and self-awareness. My role is simply to help you see your own truth more clearly and support you in living it fully.
